The Teen Center, open to Des Plaines teens of junior high and high school age,
is a joint venture of the Des Plaines Park District, City of Des Plaines, Des Plaines
Youth Commission, and Des Plaines Community Foundation.

Teen Center 2013 Hours
Fall, Winter and Spring
Through June 4, Monday–Friday* 2:30–7:00pm. *Except on Fantastic Fridays
Closed: June 5–July 23
June 24–August 16: Wednesdays and Fridays, 2:30–7:00pm
Designed by teens for teens, the Des Plaines Teen Center is a cool place to hang out.
We have lots of comfortable, plush furniture, a beverage station, computers, and access
to the Leisure Center Game Room.
Serving all Des Plaines teens in Grades 6-10, the Teen Center provides a wide variety of
free and affordable recreational opportunities. It’s a great place to watch a movie or chat
with friends, and you can enjoy snacks & beverages in the café area.
Meet up with a study partner and use the computers, which are equipped with hi-speed
internet access.
At the Teen Center, you and your friends have plenty of space to play,
study, relax, and have fun!
