Memorial Trees and Benches
Memorial Trees and Benches Program.
Memorial Trees
Our Tree of Life program is a wonderful way for people, businesses, and organizations to commemorate an individual, group or special event by having a tree planted in one of the district’s many parks. This program enhances the environment, encourages community involvement, and beautifies our neighborhood parks.
Included with every tree is a golden leaf, inscribed with your personal message and permanently displayed on one of the striking Tree of Life sculptures in the Administrative & Leisure Center or Prairie Lakes Community Center.
The Tree of Life program fee is $575, which includes a 20-year tree replacement guarantee. A personalized cast-bronze plaque is included for display at the base of your memorial tree.
The deadline to order for spring planting is May 1; fall planting is September 1.
Please Note: Prairie Lakes Park is one of our most popular locations for memorials. Tree planting is limited in this park and we may not be able to accommodate your request. However, our program does include the adoption of an existing tree. Those options are popular, and one may be suitable for your memorial.
*Tree availability is limited at Central Park and Lake Park.
