Artistic swimming (formerly known as Synchronized Swimming) combines music, dance, gymnastics and swimming into the ultimate team sport. This is a beginner class where swimmers will learn sculling techniques and figures like somersaults, kips, ballet legs, tower and more. Together with fun music, swimmers will combine these elements for a fun routine and figures competition to showcase the new skills learned. Participants must be able to swim one length of the pool freestyle and backstroke and have some understanding of breaststroke.
Aqua Zumba® blends the Zumba® philosophy with water resistance, for one pool party you shouldn’t miss! There is less impact on your joints during an Aqua Zumba® class so you can let loose. Water creates natural resistance, which means every step is more challenging and helps tone your muscles.
Class includes stretching, water walking, and exercises to increase flexibility, muscle strengthening and improved balance.
