One of the most beautiful park spaces in the northwest suburbs, West Park features a popular field house, available to rent for parties, meetings, and family gatherings. Its is home to the West Park Explorers summer camp. The large, colorful playground is ADA accessible, from a ramp attached to a pathway. It has swings, slides, a teeter-totter, and plenty of things to climb on including a climbing tree; benches for reading, relaxing, and watching your children play in the park; a picnic shelter with tables near the playground; two picnic shelters with tables available for rent: one in the open space with a grill and one near the ballfields; two softball/baseball fields with bleachers; a concessions stand building with restrooms; picnic tables; full and half basketball courts, a bocce ball court, a tennis court; and a walking/biking path around the park with benches and a drinking fountain.
In winter, we put up an outdoor ice rink for skating and hockey.
