The park district has outdoor tennis courts at six parks around Des Plaines:
Chippewa, Kutchen, Rand, Seminole, West and Willow,
There are six dedicated outdoor pickleball courts at Chippewa Park.
There are two dedicated outdoor pickleball courts at Seminole Park.
Pickleball Rules
- Courts are reserved for Park District programs and usage permit holders.
- Permits are only granted by the Park District. For information call 847-391-5711.
- Open play is available at all other times.
- Courts are used on a first come, first served basis.
- If all courts are full, players will use the pickle paddle rotation system.
- No private or professional lessons allowed.
- Sportsmanship and courtesy expected at all times.
- Avoid using courts when wet.
Join us for Pickle Palooza on Saturday, May 10!
Calling all pickleball enthusiasts, whether you’re a seasoned player or just starting out, get ready to show your skills. Tournament will take place at Chippewa Courts, with a full day of competitive, fun pickleball action. Awards will be given to the top finishers in each division. One registration count as a team of 2! Ages 18+.
All participants will receive a t-shirt. Sizes should be entered at registration.
*Participants must have their own paddle
